Why do you sell Insurance Policies rather than Service Plans ?

We believe that Insurance Policies offer you the highest possible protection and follow the best practise of Industry compliance provided through the governance of the Financial Conduct Authority. (formerly FSA). Similarly designed service plans are often not regulated and offer you no guaranteed or ombudsman protection.


How many products can I cover on one policy ?

You can cover up to and including 7 appliances on your policy and what’s more not all the appliances have to be at the same address. One policy could therefore cover a complete Landlord’s small property portfolio.


Are there any call out charges or Excess payments required ?

Simply No ! There are no additional fees or charges to pay and there is no excess payment requirement when you come to make a claim.


I am unsure on the age of my appliance ?

You can only obtain insurance cover for your appliance if it is less than 8 years old at the date of your policy purchase. If you are unsure on the age please provide your product serial number and we will endeavour to determine with the manufacturer where possible it's approximate age of production.


Can I only buy a Policy once my manufacturer’s guarantee runs out ?

No a policy can be purchased at any time either during the manufacturer’s warranty period or after it’s expiry.

There is a 30 day no claims period from the purchase of your Policy however so we would recommend for continuity of cover that you make your purchase whilst the appliance is still within it's guarantee period.


Can I add new products onto an existing policy ?

Yes. Please either call or preferably email us with the additional product details and we will arrange for this to be added on to your existing policy. An extra charge will apply but we will confirm all details before we change any of your billing details.


I want to purchase a Policy longer than 12 Months

We have a range of Policies to choose from starting from 12 months up to 36 months cover. Should you have a bespoke requirement outside of our standard terms please contact us with details of your enquiry.


How do I make a Claim ?

Please either ring on 0845 812 3600 or email with your Policy number and our dedicated claims handling team will promptly process your details.


Who arranges for the Engineer to visit ?

Our dedicated claims handling centre will take all the hassle off your hands and arrange for a suitably trained engineer to visit at a time of your convenience to diagnose and rectify the fault.


My appliance cannot be repaired what happens now ?

In the event that your appliance cannot be repaired (this can often be due to part obsolescence or unavailability) we will arrange a replacement equivalent appliance at no additional cost.


What about delivery charges and product installation of a new product ?

Your policy does not cover for the delivery or installation costs of the new replacement products. We are happy to help source and arrange both these services but they will be chargeable separately.


I wish to cancel my policy ? 

More Details…


In the unlikely event that you would like to cancel your policy please email confirmation of your intention within 45 days from the point of purchase in order to obtain a full refund.
